I've been a fan of YouTube, but now I've been blown away. Jake mentioned that the member of Big Business who was also in Karp said that there was a video of Karp's (first night*, I think) performance from American Beat records from TEN YEARS AGO on the tube. Considering it's a punk show video tape from 1996, it isn't bad at all. I spent most of the time half-wanting the camera to turn a little farther to the left to see if that was in fact me standing next to the camera, and half-terrified that it was. This was one of those defining life moments in music for me, so seeing this video = much wows.
*Their van went belly-up and they kicked it dixie style in Birmingham for a week, so they played another show the next night. I would love to see the second performance, because they did "Get Yr Hands Off Of My Cakes" from the Rye Coalition split (remember when they weren't AC/DC lite?) which is my favorite Karp song.
